Three decorating tips for Christmas Eve Eve Eve
Christmas Eve Eve Eve is trending on Twitter, and we are sure you are knee deep in attending or hosting a variety of holiday gatherings with friends and family.
Lindsay, Only Southern Made's creative director, is a whiz when it comes to decorating and design projects. She really is the "hostess with the mostess" so we wanted to share some ideas with you for making your home festive during the Christmas season.
- Customize with chalk paint - There are so many fun messages you can create for guests as they arrive. Lindsay opted for "Happy Holidays," but you could also write, "Merry Christmas," "Welcome Friends," or other fun seasons greetings.
- Add a wreath in unexpected places - Lindsay hung beautiful wreaths on mirrors, interior windows and, of course, on each of the exterior windows facing the street. Get creative and add a wreath where you wouldn't expect to see one.
- Experiment with symmetry - We love the mirror images displayed in the picture shown. Christmas trees, chalk paint signs and lamps all work to provide the perfect amount of symmetry.
Christmas is coming soon, and we'll plan to share more of Linday's decorating tips throughout the week. Come back soon - and feel free to leave a comment or question for Lindsay.
